When forklift operators travel too fast in a high pedestrian traffic area, safety is in jeopardy.Safe-Speed is a radar detection system that alerts the operator to "SLOW DOWN" when they have exceeded the safe speed limit of a particular area. The Safe-Speed has been specifically designed for industrial equipment as it can detect traffic movement as low as 3 mph. An optional 12 volt flashing light or warning buzzer can also be installed (buzzer included).

Product Advantages
• More control of load by pendant operator! Now he has frame of reference to the floor of hook
• Reduce accidents!! Many crane accidents involve pedestrians---so warning them of the presence of the hook is highly beneficial.
• When pedestrian sees beam on floor--he knows a crane is in close proximity
• Very effective for more precise positioning of the crane by the wireless remote operator
Installation:
• Suggested wiring is to ground the black wire and connect the red wire to the strobe light's positive wire. The current draw is minimal enough that the wire should be able to handle it just fine. You can also connect the forklift bluespot to the reverse alarms positive wire if you would like it to only be on while in reverse or if you lack a strobe light. Ideally though, you would want it on constantly for pedestrial safety.
• Typically, the forklift bluespot is mounted to the overhead guard near the strobe or rear work light.
• It is recommended to focus the spot about 7-8 feet from the rear of the forklift.
Quality Test:
