Product Description

This is a laser-guided tool that provides forklift operators with a clear visual reference to align forks with pallets. It projects an ultra-bright 650nm red / blue / green laser line, allowing operators to accurately see where the fork tips will contact pallets or materials. The laser beam is projected onto objects in front of the forklift at fork height, helping operators confirm the correct fork position before approaching pallets, and the system is available in single and dual versions.

A laser unit mounted on the forklift's central carriage emits a bright yet safe red, blue or green guidance beam. The horizontal beam, parallel to the forklift, clearly indicates the precise position for accurate alignment of forks with pallets, crates or other loads.

Installation

 

The fully sealed, standalone unit can be installed on the forklift carriage in under five minutes.

 

A heavy-duty magnetic base firmly secures the laser guide with no complicated setup required.

 

Power Supply

 

Two power supply options are available:

 

1. Rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack
    
   • Magnetically mounted.
   • Up to approximately 50 hours of operation per charge.
   • No hardwiring to the forklift needed.
    
2. Direct wiring
    
   • Connects to the forklift's existing power supply via a voltage regulator.
   • Not suitable if no power source exists at the carriage.
   • Hardware for establishing a new power supply is not included.

Activation & Control Systems

 

• Multiple control modes are available for turning the laser on and off:
   
• RF wireless remote control

   

  Mounted in the cab or on the forklift frame, allows convenient manual on/off operation.
   
• Vibration switch

   

  Activates the laser when forklift motion/vibration is detected; automatically turns off after 4 minutes of inactivity to save power and extend laser life.
   
• Height switch

   

  Turns the laser on when forks rise above 7 feet and off when below that height. Saves power and helps prevent eye exposure in high-traffic work areas.
   
• Key switch

   

  Hardwired to the forklift electrical system; powers on/off automatically with the forklift, eliminating the need for separate operation.

Installations&Dimensions

The system installs easily using heavy-duty magnets, and the remote control unit attaches securely to the forklift frame for convenient push-button operation.

To install the laser guide properly, start by raising the forks to an accessible working height of around 4 to 6 feet. Next, choose the mounting position on the forklift frame - you can mount it on the left side, right side, or center, with the center position being the most commonly used.

Then adjust the mounting height so the laser projects directly from the center of the forklift tines.

Note: The bracket can be installed in either forward or reverse orientation to achieve a better and more secure fit.
